Jenn Smith, Owner of Preservation Hound

If you could take a moment and inspect the two photos, you’ll get to know me immediately. I have a deep love for historic properties but I also LOVE to be bright, bold, innovative… and to have fun and laugh. (That’s taboo in real estate, right?) To say I have a dynamic and polarizing personality would be accurate.

I hold a handful of degrees that I use in an unconventional way to support small businesses in Detroit and around Michigan. I help to implement Adaptive Reuse as a functional tool, not just a theory that is having a ‘cool’ or ‘hip’ moment, but one that actually helps to shape neighborhoods and therein- lives.

My personal goal in Real Estate is to be focused on not just my fiduciary to my clients, but also the next several generations that may inhabit the spaces we move in today.

I would love to tell you more, but I’d rather just get coffee and tell you about “Detroit Style” preservation.
